Rhenus delivers goods around the world every day. For its Kick Off, the idea turns that familiar story inward: 400 colleagues become the day's most valuable cargo. The brief calls for a recognisable Rhenus environment at The Plant, with a clear guest journey and a celebratory expression of the company's own message, Empowered by You.
Visual Direction
Container steel, crate timber, concrete and brushed metal ground the concept in logistics. Crisp white and ice-blue LED lines pick out the industrial edges. Yellow is reserved for the route, YOU and the elements that guide guests; a condensed sans serif ties the screens, signage, badges and bags together.

Two devices carry the experience. A yellow dotted route leads from the entrance along the runway, onto the truck stage and across the ceiling, passing line drawings of trucks, ships, aircraft and containers. Shipping labels bring that language down to a personal scale, using barcodes, tracking numbers and short logistics names for wayfinding.

Welcome, programme and live check-in screens share the same blue-and-yellow system. The proposed programme borrows its language from logistics — Fuel stop, Cargo talks and Proof of Delivery — carrying the concept from arrival through recognition and the final goodbye. The check-in figures shown are illustrative mockup content, not event results.

The name badge becomes a personal shipping label: a name under Empowered by, a barcode on the front, and QR codes for Liquid Logistics, the photo booth and Inbound Storage on the reverse. The cargo bag translates a blue shipping crate into event merchandise, with Empowered by YOU running along the diagonal plank.

The presentation brings the stage, wayfinding, screens, badges and merchandise into one coherent proposal for The Plant and 400 guests. The route and shipping-label system is designed to adapt to other venues and future events. Shown here are concept visuals and reference imagery from the design presentation, not photographs of a completed event.
